The IWBC hosts regular specialty sessions called Strategic Sessions and Network at Night. Each event has an educational focus on one of the pillars of growing and running a business.

Do you believe that? We do.

But sometimes it takes more than a visit to the bank to raise funding. Crowdfunding is the creative alternative many businesses need, whether you are an idea-stage startup, a home-based business or an established business looking to expand.

Crowdfunding connects businesses with their communities and helps businesses raise funding by sharing their story and vision. Think of it as old-fashioned barn raising using new digital tools.

The Idaho Women’s Business Center in partnership with Crowdfund Better is proud to launch Communities Connected, the first end-to-end crowdfunding education and training program to help Idaho businesses raise capital from their community using this new innovative tool.

To learn more or to get started with your training, please fill out the contact form below and a member of the IWBC team will contact you about next steps.

The Connect the Dots Mentorship Academy facilitates one-to-one mentoring relationships that connect small business owners (Mentees) with Mentors (experienced business owners, economic development professionals and valued volunteers) from around the state to assist in overcoming barriers of entrepreneurship. (Or just a friendly professional to bounce ideas) We believe that all women in business should sign up to have a mentor. Whether it is a one time phone call, coffee meeting, zoom, or a 90 day connecting program for a deeper dive, lasting professional relationships will transpire for the benefit of all who participate.  Join the Connect the Dots Mentorship Academy now to start developing personal and professional relationships with others across Idaho who can help you learn and grow.
